As a result of its research, the approach of Airport Plazas is to offer a food court environment. The food court concept insures variety, which in turn provides longevity for the food court itself. In addition to the usual national brands such as Burger King and Wendy’s, Airport Plazas seeks to include local favorites, and ethnic food options that will be more in tune with the local customer base. Offering a variety of food options will make the Airport Plazas site an attractive place for people to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while on a break from work or waiting to board a flight. 

 

CAR WASH

Whether picking up a VIP or a loved one people like to show up with a clean car. Nearly all Airport Plazas locations have a car wash facility. In certain locations the company has installed RFID readers that make the car wash experience similar to using E-Z Pass at a toll. Simply drive in and the tag knows the customer and their preferred choice of wash. The use of the tag adds convenience for the customer.

 

PARKING

Airport Plazas offers free parking to all automobile patrons. In certain sites, Airport Plazas has been asked to develop parking lots specifically designed for trucks. Due to increased costs for development of these sites, there are often charges associated with the truck parking. There are a number of security conditions that Airport Plazas must undertake in order to insure a safe environment. The Known Shipper database provides a systematic approach to assess risk and determine the legitimacy of shippers. Passenger Air Carriers and Indirect Air Carriers must comply with a broad range of specific security requirements to qualify their clients as Known Shippers. As an operator of an airport facility, Airport Plazas would comply with the TSA and airport guidelines for security at the specified airport. This includes the inspection of trucks, maintaining a secure perimeter to the truck parking area, and using a combination of lighting and surveillance cameras.

Simply taking a vehicle in for maintenance can greatly improve gas mileage and save on repair bills down the road.
