Airport Plazas was one of two finalist for this project. It is a large property located at the main entrance of the airport. Airport Plazas/GAZ Realty, Inc. experience over the past 20 years is not limited to running gas stations, convenience stores and car washes. We have also started from scratch on many sites finding a undeveloped piece of land that we feel we can turn into a profitable location to operate. In addition we have experience dealing with local towns and villages to get the neccessary permits. All sites we run presently are EBITDA positive and generate a healthy cash flow and a lot of time and effort is put into training our mangers and staff.
Southwest Florida International Airport (Fort Myers) is a major hub and a major site which Airport Plazas plans to build a world class operation.

As of date of the bid submission, Airport Plazas has already broken ground on a similar venture at Newark Liberty International Airport. The company has a dedicated development team and plasn to expand its future development at airport locations across the country. The development of retail properties at airport locations is a full-time objective.
After hours of presentations and Q&A by Lee County Port Authority Board, Airport Plazas was awarded the RFP to design, build and operate a world class plaza at the main entrance of the airport. This bid has been confirmed by Lee County.
