I-95 Maryland Travel Plazas
Airport Plazas and Tishman Construction, an AECOM company created a 50/50 joint venture company called Maryland Energy Centers for the sole purpose of bidding on the redevelopment of the iconic Maryland House & Chesapeake House. While MEC ultimately emerged without winning the bid it can now share with the public how two great companies worked well together to create a reinvention of the travel center.
The two companies look forward to future projects where they can apply their respective expertise in trying to make the world a more exciting place through design and construction.
