Airport Plazas, Food Court

Food Court

It is the belief of Airport Plazas that people will visit a restaurant once or twice a week. When dining with friends and colleagues, the challenge seems to be the agreement of where to go that makes everyone happy. As a result of its research, the approach of Airport Plazas is to offer a food court environment.

In addition to the usual national brands such as Taco Bell, Airport Plazas will seek to include local favorites, and ethnic food options that will be more in tune with the local customer base. Offering a variety of food options will make the Airport Plazas site an attractive place for people to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while on a break from work or waiting to board a flight. The below image is a sample of one of our proposed food courts.

Most airports across the country are not located next door to thriving retail corridors. Many are typically in more industrial or rural settings. The food court concept insures variety, which in turn provides longevity for the food court itself. A single option food outlet would enjoy a great buzz during it’s first year but will gradually fade over time. All food outlets struggle with the challenge of keeping themselves attractive.
